Privacy policy

This is a plain starter draft. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer yet. It covers the purgeo.ai website and its early list form.

Who we are

Purgeo is a new company building an AI service that helps households sell their things. Purgeo is not yet operating any paid services. Right now this website only collects interest through the early list and contact form.

What we collect

When you fill in our form, we collect what you type in:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your phone number, if you choose to give it
• Your neighborhood or ZIP code
• Whether you want to sell, want to buy, or are a business
• What you want to sell, if you tell us
• Your message

If you email us, we get your email address and whatever you write.

Our form is delivered by a form service (Web3Forms or Formspree), which passes your answers to our email inbox. Our site is hosted on Vercel, our domain runs through Cloudflare, and our fonts load from Google Fonts. These providers may process basic technical data like your IP address to deliver the service. Their own privacy policies apply to that.

We do not use advertising trackers or cookies on this site.

How we use it

• To contact you about Purgeo, including when it opens in your area
• To answer your questions
• To understand where in Chicago people want Purgeo first

What we do not do

• We do not sell your personal data.
• We do not share your personal data with anyone for their own marketing.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you, fix or delete the information you gave us. You can also ask to be taken off the early list at any time. Email support@purgeo.ai.

How long we keep it

We keep early list details until Purgeo launches in your area, or until you ask us to delete them, whichever comes first.

Children

This site is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We will update this page when our practices change, and before Purgeo starts any paid service.
